The Showroom:
The first step in the kitchen design process is to get familiar with the furniture. Primarily you can do this on this website. A visit to our Bromley showroom is a good next step as there is no substitute for actually seeing and operating LEICHT furniture. We have 5 displays, many door and worktop samples and an extensive range of product brochures for you to take away.

The Site Survey:
Once you have a rough idea of the style of kitchen that you like, it is a good time for us to do a site survey of your kitchen. Site surveys can be booked with us between the hours of 10am to 4pm, Mondays to Saturdays. We will measure the room and then ask you a series of questions to determine any ideas that you have, equipment that you need etc. This process will take approximately 1 hour. Our site survey and design service are without obligation.

The Design:
From our site survey drawings we draw up the kitchen to 1:20 scale on A3 paper. We then transfer this into a computer aided design system called ‘Compusoft Winner’. This enables us to then price your kitchen in the finishes that you have chosen.

The Presentation:
Once we have prepared your initial design and quotation we will contact you to arrange a re-visit our showroom. We will then present to you the design using our CAD software and the physical displays and samples available within the showroom. At this stage you can ask us to make any changes necessary.

The Order:
Once you are completely satisfied with the design you are ready to order. We require a 25% deposit to order a kitchen. We can then prepare and send the order to LEICHT in Germany and furnish you with a full set of drawings including A3 plans, elevations and perspectives.

Delivery times:
The majority of LEICHT kitchen programmes can be manufactured and delivered within 6 weeks. Some ranges, such as lacquered programmes will take up to 8 weeks.

The Installation:
We use experienced sub contracted fitters to install our kitchens. All have many years experience in the kitchen industry and specifically fitting LEICHT furniture. They will generally complete all work themselves including fitting the furniture, electrical and plumbing works and minor cosmetic works including plastering and making good.

We are also able to ‘supply only’ and fully liase with a third party installer such as your own builder. We are on hand until project completion.

The average kitchen takes approximately 10-15 working days to complete ie 3 weeks (including stripping out, re-wire and plumbing, fitting of units). If you are having granite or Corian worktops then there will be a 10 day manufacturing period between templating and fitting of your worktops.

We pride ourselves on skillful, well organized and tidy installations. Our fitters will be on site from approximately 9am to 5pm. We aim to make the fitting process as smooth as possible for you.
